Downey Pizza Co - (562) 862-1112

I've been here probably 7 times and it's not bad -- it's more of a default choice if I'm in the area. The place itself is quite large -- the way it's spread out makes the restaurant look empty even when it's full! The pizza has that sort of quasi-tasteless cheese, sort of dough-y crust and somewhat flavlorless toppings. Not the best, but not the worst. This place isn't so much where you go for great pizza -- it's more the kind of place you go when with friends to hang out or watch the game on the small mounted TV sets.

Most interesting pizza I've ever had topped with pastrami. Prices are kids steap for pizza, but still reasonable. Clean environment with friendly staff.

the pizza is really good. the pastrami pizza is to die for. you will really enjoy this spot. Not too expensive and very good food for a night out !!
